 Mr. Vic Woods is the Varnum Public School Superintendent. Vic has spent the last ten years in the capacity of a college dean, superintendent, educator, state coordinator, and state program supervisor. Prior to becoming the Superintendent at Varnum Public School he has served as the Eastern Oklahoma State College (EOSC) McAlester Campus Dean and Superintendent at Drummond Public Schools. Before becoming a school administrator he worked for the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education (ODCTE) as a Program Supervisor/Regional Field Representative for both the Technology Education and Trade and Industrial Education Division (Tech Ed/T&I). He has a multi-faceted backgroundin Oklahoma’s education system and in business and industry. His educational and career experiences include owning and operating a local business, implementing and managing statemandated social services and educational programs and initiatives, actively participating in local, state, and national level industry and educational organizations, and serving as a public school, college, and state administrator. Vic’s current responsibilities include effectively leading, managing, operating and maintaining a public school system.
